The short version
- We collect your email address and your home city. Nothing else.
- We use them to invite you when Rogha opens and to work out which cities to launch in first.
- Your data is stored in the European Union, by Brevo, on our behalf.
- We never sell or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.
- You can leave in one tap, or email us and we'll delete everything.
Who's responsible
Rogha is an early-stage project run by Scarlett Rodriguez, 24 avenue des Châteaupieds, 92500 Rueil-Malmaison, France. For the purposes of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, she is the data controller for everything described on this page.

What we collect, and why

That's the entire list. We don't ask for your name, we don't ask your age, and we don't try to work out who you are from anything else.
Confirming it's really you
Submitting the form does not put you on the list. We send a confirmation email, and you join only when you tap the link inside it. This is called double opt-in. If you never tap it, your address is discarded.
It also means nobody can sign you up for something you didn't ask for.
Who else touches your data
Only the services we need to run a waiting list, and only ever on our instructions:

Each of them is bound by a data processing agreement. None of them may use your details for their own purposes. We do not sell your data, and we never will.
Cookies and tracking
This page sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising pixels or third-party trackers. Nothing here follows you anywhere, and the page makes no request to any other company's servers at all; even the typeface is served from this site.
Our emails are a different matter, and you should know it. The confirmation email contains a small invisible image that lets us count how many people opened it. That count is anonymous: our email provider is configured so opens and clicks are never tied to you as a person, and we build no profile of you from them. We use the number for one thing only, checking that our emails are arriving rather than landing in spam. If you would rather not be counted, most email apps let you block images, and blocking them does not stop the email working.
How long we keep it
Until Rogha launches and you've had your invitation, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. If the project is abandoned, the list is deleted and you'll be told before that happens.
Addresses that never confirm are removed within 30 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- Show you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete it entirely
- Send it to you in a portable format
- Stop processing it, or object to us doing so
- Withdraw your consent at any point, which is what the unsubscribe link does
Email privacy@rogha.travel and we'll deal with it within a month, usually within a few days. There's no charge, and you don't have to give a reason.
If you think we've handled your data badly and we haven't put it right, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In France that's the CNIL; in the UK, the ICO.
Children
Rogha isn't aimed at under-16s and we don't knowingly hold their data. If you believe a child has joined the list, tell us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this page
When Rogha becomes an actual product this notice will need to grow. Accounts, saved trips, price alerts and booking hand-offs all involve data this page doesn't cover yet. We'll date any update at the top, and if a change materially affects you we'll email you rather than quietly editing the page.
